Advisory Committees of the Executive Board
- The Strategy Committee advises the Vice President Research and Corporate Relations and the Executive Board on developing
the ETH Zurich
strategy. It consists of five representatives of the professors and one
representative from each of the three non-professorial university groups.
- The Study Committee deals with questions regarding teaching. It consists of a maximum of 15 members, two of which are representatives of the non-professorial staff, another two are student representatives.
- The Research Commission supports the Executive Board in research matters. It examines petitions regarding the funding of research projects and acquisitions financed by ETH Zurich.
- The ICT Commission advises the ETH Executive Board on ICT equipment procurement and use as well as on general policies associated with information and communications technologies.
- The Risk
Management Committee advises the President and the Executive
Board on matters relating to risk management, risk financing and insurance. It
regularly assesses the risk, damage and insurance situation at ETH Zurich and supports its
various departments in coordinating and organising risk management.
- The Asset Commission advises the Vice President Finance and Controlling on decisions related to the investment strategy and the management of external funding by external asset managers. It also monitors compliance with the investment strategy.
